## The Story Unfolds

In the latest edition of Age of Sigmar, the veil is lifted on the harsh reality faced by the Stormcast Eternals. Once believed to be immortally blessed by Sigmar, these warriors are now confronted with the truth about their reincarnation. Each time they fall in battle and are reborn, a piece of their soul erodes, leaving them less human and more akin to mindless dolls. This revelation shakes the foundation of their beliefs and allegiance.

Amidst this turmoil, a new foe emerges with terrifying ambition. The Skaven, notorious for their cunning and relentless nature, have unveiled a range of new techno-magic weapons that exemplify their innovative brutality. From the depths, they raise a colossal city, unleashing billions of Skaven warriors onto the realms, heralding an era of war and chaos.

## Rule Changes: What You Need to Know

The fourth edition brings with it a host of changes designed to enhance gameplay and strategy. Here's what players can expect:

- **Warscroll Overhaul**: All warscrolls have been updated, rendering previous battletomes obsolete. However, Games Workshop has promised free PDFs for each faction to ensure players can transition smoothly.
  
- **Uniform Weapon Range**: The range of all weapons is now standardized to 3 inches, affecting how engagements and battles are planned.
  
- **Morale Replaced**: The traditional morale system has been removed, introducing a new "control" stat similar to the mechanics in Warhammer 40K, adding depth to battlefield command and control.
  
- **Magic System Revamp**: Players choose a single spell lore at the beginning of the game, granting access to all spells within that lore, streamlining the magic phase and strategic decisions.
  
- **Abilities Focus**: Every action is now considered an ability, providing clarity and uniformity in how various effects and powers are applied.
  
- **Double Turn Limitation**: Opting for a double turn prevents scoring battle tactics. This rule aims to balance the tactical advantage of consecutive turns with strategic objective control.
  
- **Universal Rules Introduction**: To streamline gameplay and understanding of warscrolls, universal rules cover common elements like banners, musicians, champions, flying units, and ethereal beings.

- **Interactivity increased** cast spell or even change during opponent turn (maybe it's time for alternate activation?)

- **Impactfull terrain** Improved terrain rules for a bigger impact in the game

- **Streamlined Army Building**  (i don't know what that mean...)

- **More reactive command system** (i guess it's the same thing allowing to cast a spell or charge during ennemy turn)

- **Underdog mechanics** supposed to grant nail biting finish to our games ^^

- **GHB** : will be in the launch box.

- **Path to Glory** focused on characters and units progression

# Elevating Miniature Painting: A Look at the RGG 360° V2 Painting Handle

The world of miniature painting is one that thrives on innovation and precision. The **RGG 360° V2 Painting Handle** by Redgrassgames, which I had the privilege to test thanks to a generous send from their team, stands as a testament to this evolving craft. With its Kickstarter on the horizon, I'm eager to share how this tool is shaping up to be an indispensable tool for painters.

The **Definitive Edition** of this handle introduces several enhancements tailored to the feedback of the miniature painting community. Among its most notable features are the swappable XL caps, a way for those handling larger miniatures or simply seeking a more comfortable grip. This ergonomic advancement ensures the handle is a fit for all, enhancing both comfort and control during painting sessions. (The handle is the same but the xl cap create hight between the handle and the cap so if you have space marines hands it's handy ^^)

These XL caps not only cater to larger model sizes but also embody flexibility with their 360-degree rotation capability, making any painting angle achievable with ease. Also the size of the XL cap allow easing mounting for cavalry and other bike bases and as you can rotate the cap 360 it's super neat to access any zone you need.

**Subassemblies**

The addition of a central hole for stabilizing subassemblies, paired with cork inserts, marks a significant improvement. It simplifies the painting in subassemblies, for exemple i can have the model + base on a xl cap with the weapon and the head of 2 cap with corks. Honestly it's doesnt take long to set up and really improve the painting process.

Having used the RGG 360° V2 extensively for my Flesh Eater Courts army project, the ability to switch between multiple caps without interrupting my workflow has been a lovely experience. Especially as i airbrush a lot. This feature alone has streamlined my process, allowing for a more efficient and enjoyable painting experience. Considering that i changed my list last minute i have to repaint a full army again ^^ so i better make the most of the RGG 360° V2 Painting Handle.

Yet, with multiple caps now in play, a cap holder station—akin to a paint rack but for caps—would be a welcome addition. Also maybe the options for a softer putty for smaller and lighter part. 

An accessory as a cap staion holder would neatly solve the issue of cap management, keeping them organized and readily accessible during marathon painting sessions. Maybe i should suggest it to RGG ^^(or maybe it's just me that need one)


The handle's thoughtful design, paired with its innovative features, underscores a deep understanding of painters' needs.

As the Kickstarter campaign approaches on March 14th, I look forward to seeing how other enthusiasts will incorporate this tool into their painting arsenals. 

The RGG 360° V2 isn't just a step forward in painting technology; it's a leap towards a future where every detail matters, and every project is a masterpiece waiting to be unveiled.
