Henry Cavill to Star and Produce Warhammer 40000 Series for Amazon

Fans of both Henry Cavill and the Warhammer 40000 franchise have reason to celebrate, as it was recently announced that Cavill will be starring in and producing a series based on the popular science fiction universe for Amazon.

For those unfamiliar with Cavill, he is an English actor best known for his roles as Superman in the DC Extended Universe and Geralt of Rivia in Netflix's "The Witcher." He has also appeared in a variety of other film and television projects, including "Mission: Impossible - Fallout," "The Tudors," and "Man of Steel." Also he's a warhammer 40000 players, already visited warhammer world !

Details about the Amazon series are scarce at this time, but it is believed that Cavill will be playing the lead role and will also serve as an executive producer. No word yet on the plot or other cast members, but given Cavill's extensive experience in action and sci-fi roles, it's safe to say that he is well-suited for a role in the Warhammer 40000 universe.

It will be interesting to see how the series approaches the source material and how it compares to other adaptations of the franchise. With Cavill at the helm, it seems likely that the show will should be respecting the IP (as he leaving Witcher for this reason)
