Hello everyone !!
In the latest edition of Warhammer 40,000, war machines from the Horus Heresy will be reintroduced as Legends of the Horus Heresy. These units will be usable in non-competitive games, however, they will not be permitted in official Warhammer 40,000 tournaments. The Warhammer Design Studio will provide free datasheets for these models, including the elusive Chaos Kratos. These datasheets are designed to support narrative campaigns and matched play games, but they won't be updated or balanced as the edition develops.
These changes aim to maintain balance in the game, especially considering the expanding range of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy miniatures. Legends of the Horus Heresy rules allow collectors to utilize their models while ensuring a balanced game for players. Exceptions include war machines from Knight Households and Titan Legions, which will continue to receive balance updates and be allowed in competitive play.
New units added to Warhammer: The Horus Heresy will only receive Warhammer 40,000 rules where appropriate - indicating units that might be considered common in the 41st Millennium.
