Leap Change 09/08/2020

Leap have been leaked, Big Change :

-Everyone can leap over prone or stunned player
-Jumping over cost movement
-Now you have a -1 per tackle zone at starting or arrival (whichever is greater)
Leap skill reduce the malus by one and allow to jump over standing and empty square.

So a wardancer with Agi 2+, jumping into a Cage (3 tackles zone) is 4+ (5+ without leap skill).

This is a rough edition for the Wood Elves ^^

As usual following the first leak, Gw responded with a full team presentation.
So yea Wraith replace Wight, I am not convinced by the model but the rest of the team is awesome and there are a lot of alternate to the Wraith in NightHaunt.

Models are Excellent !! Especially the Golem and Zombies Scarecrow are cute!!

Black Orcs Models Official Reveal 06/08/2020

GW revealed the Full Black orc line.
It's interesting to see that Both teams come with a Star player, a big guy and a coaching model!
4 differents Black Orcs models, 4 in the box I think. The roster max is 6 Black orcs.

Black orcs are Lizardman variation with skilled BO and Thick Skill Goblin.. fun
Human are Tier 1 and get Halfling (Tier 1 wtf ? maybe with the new thrower ^^)
The imperial roster is not imperial nobility and also tier 1...

Official GW reveal 03/08/2020

Following yesterday leak we were expecting an answer!

So yes a new Bloodbowl box is coming with this motto: “bigger, better, and 100% Blood Bowl”

Warhammer Studio has poured their hearts and souls into this new edition – and the motto of “bigger, better, and 100% Blood Bowl” pretty much sums up the approach that’s been taken.

Taken into account feedback from the best players to craft the Best Bloodbowl ever !!

New teams in Bloodbowl 2020

2 new teams in the Bloodbowl Season 2 box, Empire Noble and Savage Orcs...Not many details yet on the orcs..but the noble page was leaked and so revealed in full by GW.

Nice models, lot of feathers and Griff !!! curious to see how it work in-game. Btw they are using the Noble roster from the BB app.

Look like a lot of fun...

Bloodbowl Second Season Edition box include these 2 teams :

PASS Ability added in Bloodbowl Second Season Edition

Models that can pass have now a stat separated from AG...I wanted this change for like 10 years so I am happy that thrower can do stuff now! Yay for Bloodbowl 2020, still Gutter Runner with a 4+ pass that hurt!

Stalling in Bloodbowl 2020

It seems a stalling rule is added to BB...Not a big fan but here a translation of the part we can see :

Sometimes a trainer is stalling and doesn't score even if it would be possible without any problems. And sometimes a Team is so into the violence of the game, it forgets to score even if it has the chance. This is a ???? the tactic, but it can be quite ???.
If a player of a team at any time during its team's turn fulfils all of the following criteria, he is considered stalling.
1. The player is open
2. The player owns the ball
3. The player can be activated and make a move action without having to throw a d6 first
4. The player can freely move to the enemy endzone without having to dodge or GFI
Not activating a stalling player before the turn ends (even with a turnover) or activating a stalling player and not scoring with him is considered running out the clock."

Other Changes in Bloodbowl Second Season Edition

-All the Bloodbowl 2020 roster are changing due to pass
-Teams have Tier Stat
-Teams all have a series of Special Rules
-Pro is on 3+, can reroll one die.
-Claw is 8+ UNMODIFIED (so can't stack with MB), block action only
-NEW SKILL ignore Claw (mutation)
-Loner, Dirty, MB come with a modifier attached to the skills.
-Pro is on 3+ now
-Injury table is a D16
-New pass skills to Pass and move or to drop the ball and blitz after
-Mutation Skill: Big Mouth
-Accurate is now split into 2 skills :'(
-Skaven passer has a 2+ pass skill (LB on 5+ with reroll, long on 4+ with RR, Short 3+ with RR)
-Fame removed
-Blitz, quick snap, perfect defence, Pitch invasion are d3+3 and not the whole team!
-Time out simplified
-Trolls can Vomit
-Trolls in gob team are loner on 3+
-
